Work has begun on the "TeleForce 1980" project. My plan is to make a handful of really tight, disco-funk dance tracks to triumph the late 70s, early 80s synthesizer sound. My major influence: the godfather of computer disco himself, Giorgio Moroder. Yes, it's time to grow a moustache....

The songs "Beware the Magpie" and "Funny Feeling" have been used on two NFB promos for the MobiDocs: Confessions series.

June / 07
The CFC Worldwide Short Film Festival has selected The Secret Method song "Under The Daisies" for inclusion on the "Short Tracks For Short Films Volume 6". The Secret Method will appear alongside King Cobb Steelie and Apostle Of Hustle, among others.

The festival runs June 12-17 in Toronto.

Finished the sound edit and musical score for "Johnny Gets His Gal" -- a 3 minute film that's part of the Straight8 competition out of England. We shot the film on a single roll of Super8, and having sent it unexposed to London, we had to create the soundtrack from a few scribbly notes and a scribbly memory.

I've just remixed a bunch of extended dance tracks for a fitness DVD. The production is editing at the moment. Not sure if they'll use all or any of the tracks, but I've put some of the originals in the Music page under the project title "BioMechanical".

Completed music supervision for the Fringe Festival play 'The Package Deal' written and directed by my good friend Sam Ruano. The plot? A childless couple argues when a fertility specialist offers them the ability to genetically engineer their child.

The song "Creatures That Swarm & Multiply" has been used on the "Snapshots 2006" promo for the NFB.

Spring / 06
"Jakarta", "Secret Weapon", and "Follow Me Into Madness" were used for the Toronto Film Challenge submission "Playtime for Piggot", directed by Sam Ruano and edited by Branden Bratuhin.

6 songs including "Lovely Madness", "A Dancer in Sao Paulo" and "A Happy Moment on Piano" were used in the JR Digs production "The Dame Who Got Me".

8 songs including "Dystopius", "Smile!", and "El Dorado" were used in the JR Digs movie "Dogboy" which aired on Global Television.

The song "Argon" was featured on the "Snapshots 2005" promo for the NFB's Ontario Centre.
